I felt truly welcome and at home. The room was spacious, super clean with a comfy bed, large shower, good air con & every amenity you could need. The whole place has a good vibe and has been beautifully decorated and maintained. The owners & all the staff are super friendly and the meals are amazing with huge portions. I has such an enjoyable stay and wished it had been longer. Highly recommend.

I write this review from a specific perspective — I had arrived in Vrindavan with a group but then stayed a few days on my own. I have been to Vrindavan previously but I was a little nervous about staying solo as a western woman… Vraja can present some challenges for us in regards to attracting attention, even if you are an experienced devotee. I usually stay at MVT so I can walk directly to ISKCON by myself, but it was full and I am SO GLAD I found Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram instead! It perfectly threads the needle between having comfortable rooms and being peaceful and still in the center of Vrindavan, with the real spirit of Vrindavan and not like some of the newer developments. “Ashram” conjures up thoughts of austerities — and on the same trip I stayed alone in a Math that I couldn’t handle alone… but the rooms here are incredibly comfortable and provide things that seem luxurious in an ashram, especially for the price. I had a king-sized bed with comfortable mattresses, multiple pillows, and duvets — no fuzzy brown blankets … A wardrobe, a table and chairs for sitting, a KETTLE and tea/coffee cups with some hot drink packets and even digestive biscuits!!! Also an amazing ceiling fan, real towels in the washroom, a shower head providing hot water with water pressure instead of a bucket… etc. There’s even a TV with cable, I believe, but I did not get a chance to use it. there’s also an enclosed colonial-style veranda looking out onto a lawn which is a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage. The ashram features a small temple in the back which seems to offer small aartis daily, but this really seemed like more of a guest house than a residential ashram. anyways here is why you should choose this place as a solo woman — there is always security and the staff are AMAZING and super helpful! I booked specifically based on other Booking reviews that expressed this.

The location is as good as it gets, walking distance to Taj Mahal and the fort, yet in a quiet(er) area out of the dirt and noise of the city center. The bed was very comfy, fresh and clean. But the real star is Lucky, I’ve never met a friendlier or more helpful host. I even went out with him and his friends, it was awesome.

Bansi Home Stay se encuentra a 3,3 km del centro de Agra y a 2,7 km de Taj Mahal. Ofrece alojamiento tienen aire acondicionado, terraza, jardín y salón de uso común. A typical Indian home and a family environment. Location is central and close to the Taj but not too close hence avoiding the busy streets, found in a quite residential street. Hosts are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel at home. Homemade Breakfast was the best we have had, super tasty. we arrived very early morning and he welcomed us to his home nonetheless offering us tea and coffee. A truly welcoming Indian family, no doubt 10 on 10!

GREEN HOME STAY se encuentra a 12 km de Universidad de Lucknow y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, salón de uso común y cocina compartida. Host (Seema & Neeraj )are one of the nicest people i have ever met. I was amazed to see their dedication for hospitality. I would say if you are looking to stay in Lucknow this one is NO-BRAINER.
