I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

My brother and I stayed here for two nights. All of the food was amazing, we chose to eat dinner there as well. The hosts catch the fish themselves. Very clean and comfortable, and good wifi. The best thing was the host family. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. They were able to help us arrange transportation to Udawala. We highly recommend staying here for an authentic and peaceful experience.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. The host was incredible and truly went above and beyond, he organised everything for us for the safari tour and even drove us to the bus stop. We had a free coconut on check in and a juice on checkout. The room was lovely nd big and clean with great air conditioning. An amazing experience, especially for the price!

The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Perfect location to relax close to Yala National park. Owners are really nice and there some good restaurants close by.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Priyanka was a wonderful host. After arriving from a hot afternoon safari I was greeted with a cold towel and a fresh coconut. The room is large, clean and has a/c. The dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife was delicious. It was great value. Overall a fantastic one night stay. I highly recommended this guest house.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our stay in this beautiful treehouse was absolutely amazing. The accommodation was super clean and organized. The location is perfect - in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view over the lake. I also recommend you to try the dinner and breakfast - both were delicious. And the most special thing about this place: spending time with such a warmhearted and kind family. We would have loved to stay much longer to share more moments and conversations with them. They took such good care of us. When we took the bus to Ella they even joined us at the bus station to make sure we catch the correct one.

The family run property ticked every box. Service first class, the meals were to die for & so much of it. The rooms are huge & exceptional. Cleanliness was tops. Right down to the driver/guide for yala safari who excellent with his knowledge & found sightings of leopards with great driving skills. Thanks for everything guys. Will definitely come here again

Loved that everything was clean, and felt very welcome. The hosts were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed! One of the nicest stays we’ve had in Sri Lanka.
