Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. Sanji and Madhu were excellent hosts - From the time we stepped into the property to our departure, we were treated like family guests - We had all our Breakfasts and Dinners at the property. Everything which was served was excellent, prepared to perfection. The presentation was equally good. We discussed multiple topics in our 2 days stay with Sanjee and he showed us around the property. My daughter bonded so quickly with Yasashvi ( Sanjee/Madhu's 9 yr old daughter) that she still remembers and talks about her. There is also adorable large dog ( Windy ) as a pet - Madhu and her daughter accompanied us to Cave temples ( 4 min walk to reach the temple from the property ) and explained so many details / history / traditions of Buddhism. The climb to the temple is around 300 + stairs with Medium/Moderate elevation . During the climb we took photos of beautiful forest and mountains around the area. Rooms are excellent and with top notch conditions / amenities - Madhu , Sanjee are excellent hosts. I/my family would stay here again if we are in dambulla again - Do not miss to book this property during your visit in Dambulla.

Located 1.6 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Sandilu Homestay offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Very nice guesthouse with high quality room (compared to the area and standards). The owner is very nice and motivated to make his guests comfortable. After telling him that we don't like too much that typical sweet local breakfast he changed directly for us the following days :-)

Very welcoming family and beautiful Guesthouse in the middle of the jungle. The food was amazing both the dinner and the breakfast, and the price are very cheap. The wifi connection is perfect and you can also rent a bike to move around which is very helpful. Perfect place

It’s a beautiful and quaint property that Karu and his family care about. The pool was refreshing and the house is across the road from a beautiful lake to watch the sunset. Karu’s mother cooks all of the meals and she is a master chef. I loved my time here.

Featuring garden views, Shan Mango Homestay provides accommodation with pool with a view, an indoor pool and a garden, around 5.5 km from Sigiriya Rock. The hosts at Shan Mango Homestay (Shoolini & her husband) were exceptional hosts! We were arriving very early in the day and when I told them about it, they allowed us to check in early in the morning and did not allow someone else to book the previous night (just so that they can have the rooms ready for us). They were willing to forgo an extra night's rent! While there, we were treated to delicious breakfast & dinner (they made vegetarian dishes for us). They have beautiful mango & passion-fruit trees. They gave us plenty of both to eat and take home with us. They also have a cute, little pool but we couldn't use it because it was raining most of the time we were there in Sigiriya The rooms and bathrooms were clean and we got plenty of hot water. The only small negative was that the pressure in the health-faucet & wash basin were a little low. We told them about it and they said they will look into it Overall, highly recommended!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, The Green Jungle is set in Dambulla, 15 km from Pidurangala Rock and 7.2 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. Rooms were really beautiful and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, only few steps away from bus station and in the middle between Sigirya and Dambulla, which is perfect to easily reach both of them by bus. Around property is also a lot of greenery so it has been really nice to stay there 😊

Located within 2.7 km of Sigiriya Rock and 5.9 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Lucky Villa Sigiriya features accommodation with seating area. Such a unique place in Sigiriya, accommodation was very comfy and spacious with a good functioning airco. The garden is just the best place to hang out with a direct view at the lion rock and some stunning rice fields. The family is extremely welcoming and friendly and really made us feel at home. We also did a few tours with them including jeep safari and picking us up in Kandy with several stops on the way. We also very much enjoyed that and considered the price very reasonable. Overall a unique experience and can't recommend them enough!
