Bovi was caring & extremely friendly. She took care of all our needs & did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was generous & tasty. The cottage is located within 5mins drive from the Sigiriya Lion Rock site & close to many restaurants & other travel amenities (such as ATM & laundry).

Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. We stayed 3 nights at Simoya. Madhu and Sanjee were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The room was to a high standard and had everything you needed, including a fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was huge but very tasty and we also ate dinner there for all 3 of the nights we stayed. In all honesty, Im not sure where else we could have eaten in the local area which was at the same quality as Madhu and Sanjee's cooking. We went to the top of Pidurangala rock for an extra fee at sunrise which was well worth the money. We also paid Sanjee for a transfer to Kandy which was at a reasonable rate. Both Sanjee and Madhu were perfect hosts and really lovely people. The one thing I would say that I have found throughout Sri Lanka is to check costs before agreeing to things but that advice goes throughout and everything additional we paid for we felt was worth the money.

Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. The family was great, super friendly and helpful. They made sure that we felt comfortable and like at home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Sirigiya.

Featuring garden views, Shan Mango Homestay provides accommodation with pool with a view, an indoor pool and a garden, around 5.5 km from Sigiriya Rock. The best homestay we had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are the nicest people. The lady made us feel so welcome. They would arrange scooter or loundry or safarii or anything you want. There are only two rooms so the whole stay felt like home. We had the lovely pool for ourselves. Room was big, pretty and clean. Perfect working AC and fun. Location is nice but I would suggest rent a scooter and have a freedom of exploring Sigyryja. However the are few restaurants in walking distance or host can cook for you some dishes as well. Don't hesitate to book it. You will love it.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, The Green Jungle is set in Dambulla, 15 km from Pidurangala Rock and 7.2 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. The accommodation was great, clean, quiet with great location. The owner and his family are extraordinary and very welcoming people, that helped us with tips about what to visit and gave us some hints about some hidden gems where we can see the sunset, eat and relax.

Located within 2.7 km of Sigiriya Rock and 5.9 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Lucky Villa Sigiriya features accommodation with seating area. the guesthouse is close to the center but in a quiet area with a splendid garden and an incredible view of Lions rock and rice fields. There is also a small tree house where you can admire breathtaking sunrises. The room is definitely the cleanest I've had in Sri Lanka, with AC and hot water (both working!), all for rock bottom prices. But the best part is definitely the family, super welcoming and always available, I also did various tours with them and an unforgettable Safari that I highly recommend. The delicious and abundant breakfasts, Surangi is an excellent cook.
