This family run place is located in a guarded gate community. Its location is close to the city center and a newly and pleasant developed shopping center. The room is clean and the bed is firm. We were impressed that the gentleman took us to the airport around 1:40am as promised very prompt.

Flor de Katty Hostel Airport ligt in Alajuela, op 31 km van Nationaal Park Poas en 2,3 km van stadion Alejandro Morera Soto. katty is a great host. She waited for me and also helped my friend to find an affordable car rental. The place is spotless and just a minutes away from the airport.

The hosts were so kind and helpful! We really loved our stay here. We just stayed one night but we felt like home. Thank you again for all your advices and recommendations!

We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Pura Vibra Hostel bevindt zich in Fortuna, op 5,6 km van La Fortuna-waterval, en biedt conciërgediensten, kamers, een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een gedeelde lounge. It was my first hostel in Costa Rica and I hope to find more places like this on my trip! Very nice reception, very nice common areas, lots of bathrooms and showers to use (which are new). When I arrived they explained me a map of the city and helped me to organize my activities to make the best use of my time. My favorites were the yoga area and the hostel pet!

Arenal Sloth Hostel is gelegen in Fortuna, op 5 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 5,4 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. This new hostel is perfect, very clean and quality/price super. The staff are super kind and Derrick and his cousin are so nice and helpful for everything. The room are very spacious with Ac and private bathroom . The dorm are clean and it was divided in tree rooms with 2 beds in each so I felt to be like in a private room because was not full. The kitchen are very clean too and very well organised, with two spacious and clean fridge, and the storage where to put your foods too. I was impressed by the many home appliances available, from the rice cooker, blender, water boiler, coffee machine with coffee for everyone, and in addition you also have salt, tea and other basic things that you could use it. You could have a laundry wash and dry for 8 dollars, not cheap as everything in Costa Rica, but you also have a place and soap where you can wash and hanging your clothes. 10 minutes by walk from the centre in a quiet area with a good restaurant just beside ( a friend tried and he really enjoyed. The common area whit sofa is very nice . 10 minutes from there you have the free spot “il Salto”. I really recommend.
