The place is very nice and has a great vibe. The owner was so helpful and we were so happy to get a SIM card at the hostel. We stayed one night in San Jose and were leaving very early the next day so we didn't experienced the area a lot. They have a great common area to hang out. The place is very clean.

Ester`s Place in Escazù. provides accommodation with, a garden and a terrace. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Ester’s place was easy to find with Google maps and Uber. It had everything I needed and for a price better than anything else around. Ester responded very quickly to any question I had. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting simple accommodation in this area.

The staff were so so cheerful and welcoming, I felt straight like being at home. The shared shower & toilet was spacious, and felt comfortable using. There's an outdoor area that is beautiful and surrounded by nature and its great for socializing with everyone. It's in a nice area that is in walking distance from many things like Sodas, the mall, Barrio Escalante, etc. Overall awesome stay

The owner is really friendly and nice. The location is great, close to supermarkets, restaurants and a big park. The common spaces are also nice and the two little cats made it an even better experience for me!
