Cleanliness in the premises was very good. Location was also good everything is available within 1-2 km area. There was also a small restaurant inside the premises that provides good food at nominal charges. The one thing that I have liked the most is that property is a very quiet place and there was no disturbance. One of the best place for solo or group travelers to stay in Dehradun. The mussoorie hills are also visible from the terrace.

Umesh is an overall cool guy and a great host, who treats everyone like family. His wife fed me awesome foods. Guddi, is very pleasant and attentive and makes the stay as comfortable as possible. There are several buildings with various types of rooms, from dorms to single rooms to apartments. I also met friendly and interesting travelers there. The rooftop, a chill place to hang out with lots of nice plants is like the hanging garden of Babylon. I came as a guest and am leaving as family.

Located all within restaurants, chemists, small general stores, fantastic ice creamery, street food stalls, temples and Ganga River ferry to cross river. The staff are beautiful people willing to help when asked or needed. The room was extremely clean and modern with the best cold air con needed on those hot Rishikesh days. The property facilities are great offering day beds outside of rooms along with comfy chairs to sit on and is nestled amongst magnificent gardens as well as 2 friendly loving house dogs that love all the attention they can get. Overall Indian Culture made a stay in Tapovan extremely comfortable. It is fantastic value for money offering dorm style beds and twin share rooms depending on your budget. All rooms including dorm air coned. Property has a clothes line to use when needed and great mountain views and a peaceful relaxing welcoming atmosphere

It was a crazy experience with Shanti hostel. The vibe is so much different and the host of the place is so helpful. They helped me with everything. Cleaning was at peak and the pool at property is a gem.
