Located within 700 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.4 km of Wat Sisaket, House Of Jars provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Vientiane. I have been traveling for one year in SE Asia and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. Super nice staff, great coffee, comfy bed, good shower and nice little café. Also, great wi-fi. I could teach my online classes here, even though I suggest going to coffee shops nearby to vary the environment a little.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Main man Xay is a great guy. Very social, they have free whiskey for two hours which is fantastic, and all for an excellent price. I would recommend to anyone.

Barn Laos Hostel in Vientiane provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The staff is incredible! They recommended taking the minivan to Vang Vieng as a more convenient and cheaper option and so we did. The breakfast is “as big as you like” as you cook it, which was super nice! The house is close to the city centre, in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The hostel has noise policy and when we were there, people were already asleep at 22:00, so you shouldn’t bother about your sleep.

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a bar, Barn1920s Hostel is situated in the heart of Vientiane, a 5-minute drive from Mekong River and a 3-minute walk from a night market. This time it was perfect. I would now highly recommend it. During my first stay something went wrong, but now it was perfect. So, I am happy now. You get one free coffee/tea per day (with very good taste and of good quality). You get a clean shower and bed. It's quiet at night (but of course like everywhere it's depending on the guests and their good/bad behaviour). The stuff was friendly to everyone this! time plus everything was a 100 % correct.

The check in process was quick and simple. The room was clean, and so were the bathrooms! There is a restaurant/cafe on the first floor so you can get food without having to venture out if you're feeling lazy. There is a storage room to keep your bags before check in and after check out... also Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy to book the bus ticket with they.

Sailomyen Hostel features a loft design accommodation complete with an in-house cafe on the ground floor where coffee is served. Really nice hostel with a cute cafe. They had the strongest WIFI that I experienced anywhere in Laos.
