Located in Tola, a few steps from Playa Gigante, Monkey House Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing view! I really liked the chill and quiet atmosphere. My staying was so relaxing! Perfect place for surfers, you can rent a board or take surf lessons from the hostel. Two beginner friendly surf spots quite near in walkable distance! Not too crowded. I only wish that I was better in spanish, but you get service also in english!

Facing the beachfront in Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a tour desk are featured. All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. This is a beautiful oasis on the North part of the island of Ometepe. The property is a large piece of land with lots of pretty plants and trees, 2 friendly dogs, and some chickens. All throughout is thoughtfully crafted walkways and living spaces which are very well-kept. The dorm room felt super clean and the beds were comfortable. It is actually incredible how clean it is kept considering it is basically in the middle of nature. The ranch has plenty of hammocks and space to relax! The best part of this place is the couple that owns it, Daniella and Tony. They have a way of making everyone feel at home and bonding the guests staying there. It felt like we had our own little family for the week we stayed. They always made sure we had everything we needed from food and water to suggestions of what to do on the island. Daniella is an amazing cook and we enjoyed many delicious breakfasts of omelettes, fruits, homemade marmalade, etc. And Tony’s banana smoothies made me so happy! Everyone we met there ended up extending their stay, including us. I have never felt so comfortable anywhere I’ve stayed while traveling. This is a really special place where you can feel a little closer to home while being so far away.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Hostel Clandestino Maderas is set in Playa Maderas, 600 metres from Maderas Beach and 1.3 km from Marsella Beach. I had an amazing stay at Hostel Clandestino. I booked a room in the VW bus, which unfortunately had been booked already so Corrina upgraded me to the private cabin. Very nicely done, just completed. Beautiful and peaceful spot with everything you need and more.

La Urraca Loca Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Balgue. Featuring barbecue facilities, the property is located within 12 km of Maderas Volcano. we loved this hostel. The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. when we showed up early they allowed us to check in straight away as the room was ready. we went on excursions organised via them and took the scooter via them both of which were excellent. there general atmosphere is great. there is a large communal area and good facility for cooking and meeting new people. the location was close to town and other facilities. we loved our stay here thanks.

Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

I had an incredible time there; the staff was fantastic, and the daytime ambiance was wonderfully relaxed. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly budget-friendly. Plus, on Thursdays and Sundays, they throw some fantastic parties – the perfect blend of fun and work-friendly atmosphere.

Hush is an adult-only hotel. It features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in San Juan del Sur. this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We stayed in de dormroom, they are double beds. We were with two friends and shared a bed, it's a little bit tight but still comfy. The deck with pool is amazing and it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Loved the vibe and the staff. On top off that the breakfast was amazing! Actually the food in general is very good, especially if you take the size of the kitchen into account. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to drop off our surfboards a couple days before our stay

Hostel Julieta is set in Rivas, 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, and has a terrace. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The place was really comfortable and relaxing. The family running it were very nice and helpful with everything.

Set in Mérida, 3.9 km from Maderas Volcano, Los Chocoyos offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Amazing location at the lake with great sun sets. The rooms are clean and right for the price. The staff is incredibly helpful and can get you anything you need for your stay on Omotepe. Would recommend 2/3 nights to visit all the hotspots on the Island.
