Hotel Waterloo & Backpackers offers budget accommodation in the centre of Wellington. It features a 24-hour guest kitchen, self-service laundry facilities and a games room with pool tables. Room was satisfactory, ideal location.

The 19th-century The Cambridge Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Wellington’s city centre, just 3 minutes’ walk from the Courtenay Place entertainment district. Favorite was the giant kitchen and dining area, great amount of space and clean. Tons of rooms but tons of bathrooms in a long hallway. Beds were good, a bit squeaky but comfortable. Old style building was cool.
