2 prairie-born Canadians who made the move to Vancouver Island in 2016 where we lived in an off-grid tiny home. Electricians by trade, curious by nature, and nurturing hosts, we care about the stuff that really matters - time with the ones we love most. We are cat moms to Maple, an adventure cat who likes to supervise our work and SUP with us on warm days. We love seeing the old become new again. We get great joy finding diamonds in the rough and restoring them to a functional and beautiful state. This is exactly what we are doing now at this iconic resort. It is our hope that our guests come, take a load off, and spend some quality time in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Built in harmony with nature, these newly updated oceanfront suites have balconies or a dedicated outdoor space and a view of Gowlland Harbour. Feel connected to the elements and wildlife while enjoying the comfort of free hi speed wifi, full kitchens, brand new beds, and self-check in. There are 11 suites on 2.5 acres of waterfront land with beach access just steps from the accommodations. Wildlife sightings include Eagles, Herons, Shorebirds, Whales, Dolphins, Seals, Sea Lions, Otters, and more. The marina is under repair and holds an old sunken house just off the dock! It has been attracting curious kayakers and boat traffic, because it’s quite the site to see. The government is working on getting it removed so the marina can be updated and functional, but it’s sitting on the ocean floor for now. It’s weird and cool, come see it before it’s gone! Please note that we are pet friendly. Maximum of 2 furry friends per room. Fifty dollar pet fee per stay is not included in your total.

A quiet neighborhood with family homes nearby. Conveniently located within 10 minutes of Quathiaski Cove, Rebecca Spit, local shops and restaurants. Quadra island is brimming with art, gardens, swimming holes, rock climbing, bike trails, hiking trails, and beaches. The people on Quadra Island care about the island and all its inhabitants, including the wildlife that call this place home. We take care of the water table, reduce, reuse, recycle, and help each other out.
