We host both holiday guests and business professionals (discount for long-term stays). The Scandi-Hygge Seaside House is well-suited for both families and professionals due to its luxury amenities and ideal location neighbouring Copenhagen. A two-family unit you’ll have exclusive access to the entire ground floor with private entrance and a secluded garden with patio. Your home away boasts two huge bedrooms (double beds + up to 2 single beds), 1 bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dedicated workplace with 1000Mbit internet, a huge living room with Apple TV, a conservatory, a private patio to enjoy long summer nights. Built in 1888, your home away has plenty of character with huge windows and high ceilings, and garden views throughout. Both bedrooms have queen-size double beds and in-built wardrobes. There is an option of up to 2 extra fold-out single beds. The desk with a garden view offers an ideal place to work. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge/freezer, hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffeemaker, pans, cutlery etc. so you can treat yourself to a glass of bubbly, home cooking, or deli goods from the nearby shops. Store your groceries in the adjacent pantry or hang up your towels/laundry. Enjoy your meals at the dining table in the living room before relaxing in the big comfy sofa. Watch your favourites on the Apple TV or enjoy a cup of tea in the plush chairs in the stunning conservatory. When the weather permits the patio offers more hygge. Enjoy the beautiful neighbourhood by going for walks by the sea or the parks, take a swim at the beach, watch life unfold at the local coffee shop, treat yourself to delicious takeaway. Free parking

Myself and my girlfriend, Louise, are happy to answer any questions you may have about our luxury Scandi-Hygge Seaside House and give tips to both Copenhagen and its best suburb "Charlottenlund" - please just ask! We both love travelling (including 10 years' worth of expat life in the UK and US) and playing tourists in our hometown Copenhagen. We are usually in search of the best hipster coffee, artisan bread and Danish pastries or the most scrumptious brunch (although being young parents we also spend a lot of time going on walks with our baby boy enjoying Charlottenlund and Copenhagen's many green spaces). You’ll have exclusive access to the ground floor with a private entrance, conservatory, and secluded patio in the lovely garden. The entire unit - both indoors and outdoors - is non-smoking. We live in the upstairs unit and can therefore quickly respond, should anything unforeseen arise. We are contactable by app/message/email. Charlottenlund is Copenhagen's most affluent and sought-after suburb both amongst Danes and expats, many of whom work at the embassies scattered throughout the neighbourhood. This is due to Charlottenlund’s awesome location only 10 minutes from Copenhagen, the gorgeous surroundings and relaxed city vibe. 12-15 minutes walk will take you either to the seaside where you’ll find a sandy beach and an old fortress with a moat; a lovely park with an old castle; or a wild botanical garden. 2 minutes’ walk you'll be at Charlottenlund's main boulevards "Jaegersborg Alle" and "Ordrupvej" with independent coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants; grocery stores; the local butcher, fishmonger, cheese deli, greengrocers, wine shops; plus a pharmacy, shops, and much more. You can go for a walk in the nearby forest "Dyrehaven" where the amusement park "Bakken" will delight children. You'll also find art museums like Ordrupgaard and Louisiana close by whilst Hamlet's castle "Kronborg" is only a short drive away. Transportation: If you want to visit Copenhagen, the S-train station is only 5 mins away on foot and you can hit downtown in 10 minutes. By bike it takes 20mins. Getting to/from Copenhagen Airport takes 25mins by taxi or 30mins with the direct “Oresund” train. If you come by car we offer free parking with an EV-charger.
