Enjoyed sitting watching the waves after dinner. Good budget option for visiting Hearst Castle-10 minute drive & San Simeon. Clean accommodation-comfy bed and hot shower. Loved having the Cavalier Restaurant next door for breakfast and supper. Food was great! Hotel staff w were friendly! Overall great option!

There is no elevator, so they made sure that we had help getting to the 2nd floor to room 261. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was my husband's birthday. Rooms were very clean and new towels were replaced each day. Beds were very comfortable and the lodge was quiet at night. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening during our stay, I had the fish and chips for 26.00, We felt it was over priced for the quality of the food. 15-17.00 would have been a fair price. We were checked in very quickly, given the Wi-Fi code without asking, given details of the breakfast facility, mention made of the daily room service, and directions to local restaurants. everything a weary traveller could ask for. Well done and thanks Edward.
