Everything, and the fact that it wasn't to busy

This 4-star retreat is set just a 5-minute drive from the A1. It has a gym, swimming pool, spa treatments and original 17th-century features.

Very clean and tidy and very nice pub ,value for money

As the name suggests, OYO The Old Mill is a converted windmill circa 1750, which today offers a warm welcome and a relaxing stay.

The hot tub was a lovely extra, the room was cosy and modern

The Holiday Inn Darlington-A1 Scotch Corner is ideally located on the A1/A66 junction in close proximity to Darlington and Catterick.

Great value for money, breakfast was also very good.

Situated in Stockton-on-Tees, B/W Parkmore Hotel offers stylish accommodation with free WiFi access throughout and on-site public parking free of charge.

Spa was lovely, food was delicious. Bed was so comfy.
