Check whether there are renovations and key areas closed off before booking/paying to go in. It may be amazing, but it wasn't when we went as so much was closed off with loud rennovations happening in April '24.

Parking on site (£3) and the host suggested I leave my car in the car spot until i had visited Exeter Cathedral. This was a very good idea and saved me another parking charge. The host had her partner take my suitcase up the steep stairs.

The Ridge sold the best vegan cinnamon buns ever!!! :-) The accommodation is perfectly situated in Exeter Quay. Just a quick 10 minute walk and you're right by the beautiful Exeter Cathedral and possibly the very best shopping centre in the whole of the South-West if not the country.
