YouTube on the TV was unexpected but a lovely suprise

The Priory is nestled within the historic town of Caerleon on the River Usk. Dating back to 1180, this hotel was originally a Cistercian monastery.

Welcome drink was a nice touch. Excellent restaurant on site.

Situated just off the M4 Motorway, Tŷ Magor is a modern hotel with freshly cooked breakfasts, free WiFi, a bar, a fitness room and free parking.

Large clean room and shower. Reasonably priced food and bar.

Standing high above the River Wye, the Royal Hotel has fine river and countryside views. It offers traditional cuisine, free on-site parking and bedrooms with free Wi-Fi.

This former coaching inn is set on the edge of Brecon Beacons, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. The Angel Hotel offers a restaurant, bar, and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast, staff very friendly. It was all really nice.

Two Rivers Lodge is set one mile from the historic town of Chepstow, close to the A48 Road. It features a restaurant, an outdoor eating area and a children’s play area.

Was very clean accommodation and very helpful staff

A relaxing Elizabethan Manor House which maintains its character and architectural features, with a great oak door giving access to the reception.

That it was a listed building with much character.

In Crickhowell, in the Brecon Beacons, The Bear dates back to 1432. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, old world charm and good food. Awarded Inn of the Year 2010 by the Good Pub Guide.

This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

As always staff excellent and rooms comfy and clean
