Our stay at Casa Nativo was the highlight of our Colombia trip. Not only the stunning architecture and surroundings (we never saw so many different exotic birds as we did here) but mainly the lovely and caring personalities of Daniela, her mother Ana and Diana. It's a bit like spending time with family. In our entire trip, the beautiful terrace overlooking the jungle is where we found the most peace and felt closest to nature. We also visited the coffee finca of the parents of Diana up the hill. We would come back to Colombia only to stay at this magical place!

The welcoming staff who went above and beyond to provide a wonderful stay, the pool and all the sitting areas around the pool, a roomy shower, and the food were all top notch. The location is not in a town so it is surrounded by nature and lovely views.

Cabañas y Flores ligger i Jerico, 54 km från Medellín. Här erbjuds husdjursvänligt boende, en året runt-öppen utomhuspool, en blomsterprydd miljö och utsikt över bergen. We had a wonderful stay at Finca Cabanas y Flores. The owners, Mario and Dione, are wonderful warm hosts. And Sergio is always there to take care of you! We loved the location of the Finca. It’s a short 15 minute walk into town, but seems like a world away from your cabin in the hills overlooking Jerico. After dinner in Jerico in the evening you can walk back (it’s very uphill!), or just catch a Tuk Tuk for 5,000 COP, about $1.25 USD. The views are stunning, especially from the breakfast patio, which is delicious and plentiful! The cabins themselves are lovely and comfortable. The bed was great, shower was hot, and it’s extremely quiet at all times as the location is far enough from the road. If you need wifi, the public areas have great coverage, but the 3G cell coverage is great so you can also use Wifi in your cabin using the iPhone hotspot. If you really need wifi in your cabin you get get great coverage for 10,000 COP per day, or $4 USD. You can’t go wrong staying at Cabanas y Flores!

ECO HOTEL RIO DE ORO ligger i San Rafael och har bergsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och en gemensam lounge. All the meals were delicious. The location was perfect for a quiet and romantic getaway. The staff was excellent as was the facilities and activities. Experiencing and learning about the bees was exceptional.

Sendero del Rio Finca Hotel ligger 31 km från Piedra del Peñol och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en terrass samt restaurang. A very nice hotel with luxuriant plants. Isabel was very nice and attentive. The location is good...a private area on the edge of town...only a 10 minute walk to the main plaza.

If your into witnessing beautiful natural settings while in a beautifully built and designed modern cabin with great service and attention to detail by a loving staff of people, than this a don’t miss. This is now my favorite location and glamping spot, with all the services of a fine hotel. The menu and quality of food was excellent as well.
