Gran Gavilán del Sarapiquí Lodge está a 2,6 km de Estación Biológica La Selva y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. The grounds of the lodge are beautiful - there are many beautiful flowers and lots of different birds -- it is a birdwatcher's paradise. The cabins have nice decks with comfortable chairs as well as a large central viewing deck with hammocks and comfortable chairs. The staff was were welcoming and spoke excellent English. They went above and beyond any expectations when my friend became ill and had to go to the local clinic. The owner of the lodge drove us to the clinic and stayed with our friend the whole time, translating and ensuring he got his proper medications. We are so grateful.

Selva Verde Lodge tiene vistas al jardín y está en Sarapiquí. Cuenta con restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. Right in nature. Beautiful place and the frogs are just outside your door. Staff is friendly, food is good. Kids loved all about this place. Pool is small but ok. And wifi worked well

Este lodge se encuentra en la reserva biológica de Tirimbina, a 2 km del Parque de la Virgen. Ofrece WiFi gratuita, un amplio jardín y terraza amueblada. Amazing! Very cosy place, exceeded our expectations (after reading some sceptical reviews)! It is a very comfortable, tranquile, lots of nature around you, wonderful people, working at it. We also liked the tours and the restaurant (and very kindhearted ladies in it :) p.s. try to "use" the time before and after the tourists "from outside the gate" come (evening and morning, before 9-10 a.m.). It is not becoming too crowdy, but before this you have a feeling of being "nearly alone in a beautiful nature". After this you can enjoy a wonderful terrace, where we saw many nice birds and beautiful frogs.

Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat tiene vistas al jardín y está en Puerto Viejo. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín y terraza. It was stunning. The rooms were more like apartments. The staff were wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
