Offering an indoor pool and a restaurant, Peace Lodge is located a 1-hour drive from San Jose in Vara Blanca. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. Staff was extremely kind, lovely people! I admired how imaginatively the bathroom was designed. The fireplace created an atmosphere that was inviting and cozy. The property It exceeded expectations! Breakfast, luch and dinner were excellent! Feeding animals were an incredible experience.

The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

Hotel was exactly as described . An oasis in the rainforest. However what made our stay was the prompt help from staff when i twisted my ankle and they arranged for a doctor. There’s nothing more telling about a place than how they deal with things going wrong. So grateful for every they did .

The staff were great, restaurant prices reasonable (and the seafood rice delicious) and access to the reserve was amazing. We went three times a day and saw different things each time.
