Clean, modern, very comfortable, quiet, and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible after our plane was delayed and we arrived late.

The Sails offers luxurious 5-star accommodation with free Ultra Fast WIFI, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony or patio. Guests enjoy free bicycle rental and free on-site parking. We did not eat breakfast. Location was ok but a bit of a walk for restaurants, pubs, or entertainment. Clean. The spa was wonderful. Needed after a couple of rough travel days. Receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Parking was easy. Easy access both in and out

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach, Beaches Nelson offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony or patio. It features a barbecue area, free bicycle rental and free WiFi. JACQUI greeted us warmly, made sure everything was just right with our stay and was so very sweet giving us tips and ideas to help us enjoy the area! The room was clean and comfortable, easy parking and walkable to the beach and places to eat! A perfect spot!

Arcadia Motel is situated just 3 minutes’ walk from Tahunanui Beach. It has a solar-heated swimming pool and rooms with well-equipped kitchens. WiFi access is free. Great property. Very clean and spacious rooms . Host was really great and makes an extra effort to make you feel comfortable.

Chelsea Park Motor Lodge offers luxuriously appointed rooms with free unlimited Wi-Fi, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Nelson. Host allowed us to use their own personal bikes. Very friendly & caring, even messaged us when we already checked out that we left some things.

Waimarie on Riverside Motel & Apartments is set in the heart of the Nelson city centre, 500 metres from Trafalgar Park. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. I was absolutely amazed how nice, professional and accountable the staff (Ali) was amid turbulent Gabrielle time. As a result of the cyclone I had to cancel my staying at a very short notice. The property not only did it understand but they offered a refund yet keeping me updated regularly until all process was completed. Thank you.
