We got late getting into Greymouth and the property owner switched on the heating and warmed up our beds when we arrived. It was perfect. The beds were big and warm and the washrooms and kitchen so well equipped that it was a shame we couldn't live more. Also the car was parked right infront of the room so it made our lives so simple. Perfect.

Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... This is a family run motel with very friendly and informative owners. It looks like you are pulling into someone's home, but the motel is hidden behind. The room was large and lovely with a full kitchen, and even had a jacuzzi. The beds were super comfortable. The town of Hokatika is a seaside gem with beach walks and colorful rocks. The town is small enough to walk about, but large enough to have all the services available and interesting shops.

Offering views of the mountain, Karamea River Motels is located in Karamea in the West Coast Region. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating and dining area. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped and the position just outside the village was great

What a wee gem this was to stay in, it was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, very comfy bed and a brilliant shower, close to town and quiet. The host is just lovely. We couldn’t rate this high enough.

Located in Westport, a centre for outdoor adventures such as jet boating, caving and white water rafting, Buller Court on Palmerston offers a free airport shuttle service and free parking. The man who greeted us was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed Fresh milk in the room (not uht) - these little things make such a difference! Delicious shortbread in the room.

Surrounded by beautiful native trees and bush land, Aspen Court Motel Franz Josef offers guests free Wi-Fi. Opened in December 2013, the property offers heated rooms with a flat-screen TV. The counter staff was friendly. We had one apartment and a studio, both were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent - good eating places (e.g, Alice May) and local points of interest (e.g. Terrace Walk to watch Glow Worm after dark) are within walking distances. It is an easy drive to the Franz Josef glacier area. The jacuzzi in the apartment was great for both adults to relax and kids to have fun. The whole neighborhood environment was nice and quite for pleasant leisure walks around. We highly recommend this place for visitors to Franz Josef.

Situated opposite the Aquatic Centre, Westland Recreation Centre and Hockey Turf, this 4-star Motor Inn offers motel units with free Wi-Fi. There is an outdoor seating area and guest BBQ facilities. amazing hospitality and very clean room. Cooking equipment, beds, and laundry facilities were all great! The inn is also a short walk to some restaurants and new world supermarket. highly recommended, will be back too!
