Maridona arranged for us to be picked up from the bus station (his father picked us up on the bus) and we were served a beautiful homemade jam to try when we arrived. Maridona was very welcoming, and is easily contactable- key rings have a small mobile phone on them that allow you to call Maridona when you would like to be picked up in town and he will come and get you. The room was fabulous- so homely and comfortable, and exceptionally clean. It was also the best bathroom we’ve seen so far in the Balkans, and it had a shower curtain! Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 in the morning. It was all laid out on the tables when we went down, so I would recommend going at 8 to ensure your breakfast is still warm. We were served watermelon, an egg, tomato, cucumber and feta with fried dough balls (the best we’ve had in Albania- much lighter than many we’ve tried so far) with jam. The dinner at the hotel is also excellent value. Every dish is 200 Lek, and we were very hungry after a day of travelling so we tried five dishes. The stand outs were the stuffed zucchini and stuffed peppers! We were unable to book a second night unfortunately, as the hotel was fully booked but Maridona kindly let us store our luggage at the hotel for the day, and dropped it into town for us later - the best host! I highly recommend this hotel; I didn’t want to leave!

Everything looks new. Very big balcony Small grocery shop in the building. Very nice owners, who let us early check-in.

Lovely little boutique hotel right in central Gjirokaster. We chose not to stay in the old town due to a need for parking, so it was a bit of a hike uphill to the old town, but it's a lovely walk for fit people. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in a private room of their main restaurant/bar and it was delicious and plentiful!

Hotel Kaso Ervehe mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Përmet. This was one of the best holiday in Albania, and we have been coming here for the last ten years...The hotel is located 2 min away from the center of Permet, and yet very calm, as if you were far away from town. After exploring the beautiful nature in this area, you have a perfect rest here. The staff is incredibly nice and sweet, very helpful and always smiling, two beautiful ladies, who made our stay even more precious, as well as the owner, with his huge attention and a big smile. The rooms are very clean, beds are nice and comfortable, and the restaurant is the top of everything! There is no need to explore the other restaurants, as the food here is among the best traditional food that we've tried in Albania. Every night there is something different, so you can choose between pie, dolma, roasted meat, salads, soups, and some other traditional food, like përshesh, which you must try, cause you will not find it anywhere but in Albania. The breakfast is delicious, fresh, and traditional - eggs with salad, goat butter, honey, domestic jam some home made pastry - enough for the active day in the canyon. We are coming back for sure, and we strongly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!

The hotel was newly built and it was clean, well designed and so cozy. You could see a nice view of the city from up there. Just keep in mind that you definitely need to have a car for easy access to the city

There was absolutely nothing that wasn’t perfect during our stay! The room was gorgeous and new, super clean, breakfast was fantastic and above all, the host was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. If you’re planning a trip to Gjirokastër, this is your place to stay (outstanding value for money!).

Perrrrrfect Hotel!! The room, the stuff, the smile, the food. One of the best hotels I've ever been.

We loved this hotel! It was spotlessly clean, in a great location close to both the castle and old town with an amazing view. Breakfast was great and the room was a great size and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
