In the cool of the morning we had a tasty, and ample, breakfast served to us in the charming dining room. Wonderful proprietor, Villy, has a calm demeanor, and professional but low key operation. Spotless rooms and grounds. We wished we had planned to stay for longer.

This impressive spa hotel is located in the heart of the magnificent Rila mountain range, near the popular ski resort of Borovets, only a 50-minute drive away from Sofia. Clean, quiet, great breakfast and restaurant is on an excellent level. Great staff, friendly, helpful and very kind! We were big group of 9 adults and 4 children, quiet noisy and yet the staff was highly attentive and supportive and looked out for everyone’s comfort. There is kids play ground as well with someone to watch over the kids.

We actually missed our booking as we got lost on the Rila Mountains (long story), the hotel called us to make sure we were ok and allowed us to stay the next night. This is an incredible hotel.

The Hotel & Restaurant are located in a beautiful area in the middle of the Rila Mountains, a short drive from the UNESCO Heritage monastery we well as many other sites and attractions. Good location in the pine forest on the outskirts of Borovets. Excellent breakfast and dinner selection on the buffet. Convenient free bus shuttle transport to the ski slopes and back. Decent size of the swimming pool with view of the surrounding area, and very pleasant and comfortable spa facilities. The staff are helpful when you need something. Highly recommended.

Great hotel surrounded by old pine trees, in a perfect location in Borovets. Pool was amazing and we very much enjoyed the lounge with the fireplace. Our room was a marvelous, spacious suite with comfy beds and we had our own balcony! Breakfast was very good! We will sure be back for more days!
