On the day of departure, we had a very early morning flight and the hotel offered to pack breakfast for our kids to bring to the airport, which was a really nice touch.

Sofia és una ciutat interessant per a vistar pel seu recorregut històric. En general és una ciutat fosca i decadent però interessant. És perfecta per a visitar en una escapada d'un cap de setmana. Es pot visitar també la muntanya Vitosha i el Monestir de Rila a una hora i mitja de Sofia.

Sofia és maco, té diversos edificis interessants a visitar.
Sofia és maco, té diversos edificis interessants a visitar. Tot i així, no recomano més de dos dies a la ciutat. El que sí que és recomanable és aprofitar per visitar altres pobles de Bulgària com Plovdiv o Veliko Tarnovo per fer el viatge més complert. No és necessari llogar cotxe, hi ha busos de línia que t'hi porten des de l'estació central i els bitllets són econòmics.
