First of all, the price was pretty cheap for the nice and clean room I stayed. Secondly, the stuff here were so nice that they let me stay at lobby room till the time of my bus to La Paz at 10:30pm. The hotel is also very close to the bus terminal and to the main square. We can highly recommend El Grano de Oro and would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our three nights at Hotel Cayara. Staying at this beautiful, historic hacienda was a highlight of our trip. We would love to come back. We enjoyed wandering around the gardens and took a hike past the waterfall to what is called the "city of rocks." It was absolutely beautiful. The location is very peaceful and serene. I absolutely look forward to returning. The breakfast was a nice spread, with fresh eggs and homemade cheese. We had dinner at the hacienda two nights, everything was delicious. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We recommend taking the museum tour of the house, and we learned it has so many interesting historical objects and seeing the older rooms and library was a treat. This is a very very special place. We took a day trip to Potosi. We took a city tour and asked to go to the entrance of a mine, without going in. It was very interesting learning the important history of Potosi and Cayara!
