Situated at the foot of the Weissbad Alpstein countryside in Appenzell, Hotel Hof Weissbad features a 24-hour reception services and an extensive spa area. Free Wi-Fi is available. I like everything there, comfortable room, free water at any time, free tee, fresh mint with tee, herbal guarden, food, kindness of staff, everything. Will be back again. :)

Situated in Appenzell’s historic Landsgemeinde Square, Cafe-Hotel Appenzell offers an elegant restaurant with terrace that serves home-baked cakes and regional specialities. It was a nice weekend visit of Appenzell. The hotel is located on the main square of the city. We had a good room with a cot provided for free. The room was equipped with comfy beds, bath, wardrobe, a couple of arm chairs and a table, free WiFi. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and with many options. We had a dinner at the hotel and were satisfied with ordered dishes. If you are with small children, you could find some books, colouring books, some toys and entertaining items. Besides restaurant, the hotel has its own bakery / cafeteria, which is open all day long.

Very nice Swiss Gasthasu. Well maintained and clean. We had the large upstairs family room to sleep four. Cold at night, with large comforters. Views of the town and Swiss countryside are amazing. Cows and Cow Bell sounds are everywhere. Food in restaurant was very good.

The staff was very nice, breakfast was delicious. Tourists who stay at least 3 nights are given a holiday card which provides free access to a lot of tourist attractions.

Great room layout for families with the kids room nested inside the suite. The bathroom and fixtures are high quality and very comfortable. The service is super friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. The restaurant is high-end and family friendly, the wine card is top notch. Overall an excellent stay. Also, the self-service free water and drinks are great, though the delicious fresh tap water is still better. Excellent location close to the rail network that provides access to the whole region.
