Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Baseltor Hotel & Restaurant is located in Solothurn. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Completely new renovation in very old building. Quiet at night and no church bells ringing every hour. Never heard a churchbell even thought it is next to the old church. Bathroom was also very clean with L'Occitaine body wash and shampoo - a nice luxurious touch! The breakfast was very good, plentiful with lots of choices. The dinner also excellent with high-quality ingredients. Would definately stay here again. Hotel and restaurant staff very polite and accommodating to our needs in the rooms and the restaurant. I can highly recommended this hotel.

Hotel Astoria is located in the centre of Olten, 650 metres from Olten Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, 2 restaurants serving international cuisine, and a bar on the top floor overlooking the... I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.

Hotel Amaris is located in Olten, in the vicinity of the train station, near the picturesque old quarter city. The hotel offers sophisticated rooms and suites, as well as seminar and meeting rooms. It was possible to drop our baggages before check in and it was so easy checkin and checkout. Staff was very polite and helpful. Cost effective way to stay in Switzerland than major cities like Zurich, Lucerne. Hotel location is just 30 mins away from Zurich by train and all long and short distance trains will stop at Olten which is really convienient.
