Ivy ,a very kind and caring young lady ,accompanied us to the local hospital when we had a medical emergency..She did this on her own time.She helped us to translate and navigate through the procedures in a Chinese hospital.It would have been difficult without her help.We are forever grateful to Ivy.

Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation. Beautiful property in a great location inside the old town of Lijiang. Bed was extremely comfy, bathtub in the room was a plus and the views from the second floor were beautiful. Also the host is very friendly and helpful :)

Only a short 1-minute stroll from Shuhe Ancient Town, The Bivou features accommodation in local and modern styles combined together. Cosy, welcoming ambience. Great food. Friendly, helpful staff. Delightful owner who took the time and trouble to meet up with us and even packed up a couple of packets of delicious peanuts to take with us on our train journey to Kunming. Loved the location - it was near the ancient town of Shuhe and a pretty park area where we spent a great couple of hours.

Staff thought the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and courteous. Club lounge is lovely and well appointed. Location is peaceful - maybe not ideal if you’re looking to be in the city centre but if you’re after something more resort-like, this is a great option.
