We had the best stay in Costa Rica staying with Mark & Annabelle. They were the best hosts, arranging for us to go on a rafting tour and on a chocolate tour at a nearby chocolate farm. The breakfast was delicious (best bread we've had in Costa Rica) and they also offer other meals for a small price, which was delicious. The service is sublime, including the possibility to get laundry done. The dogs are friendly, the views are fantastic and the birds are plentiful. Bella Vista Ranch is an amazing place to spend time while in Costa Rica.

Hot shower is best I had in Canada or Costa Rica. Breakfast was a hit with my 14 year old. Staying more than two days is recommended to relax into the town's vibe and appreciate the ever changing weather. Definitely visit Hacienda Orosi (night pass)!!! This mineral water healed old injury in shoulder and fatigue rose out of muscles and flowed away down mountain, leaving me feeling 15 years younger.
