Where should I start? Excellent attentive staff in all areas set the tone for a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely, well appointed room (William Morris wallpaper, for those who notice the details). Large shower, roomy bathroom, ample wardrobe and shelf space, comfortable bed. Big enough wall mounted TV if you wanted to catch up on news/entertainment. Well supplied coffee and snacks basket. Breakfast freshly cooked with local ingredients. Food so delicious we ate at the Lion every night of our stay.

Beautiful room with a lovely coffee machine and fast wi-fi that is spacious for a single. Breakfast was also great. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

The place has a beautiful view in a peaceful environment. If it wasn’t for the road behind the property (although the rooms are on the other side so we didn’t hear a single car during the night), it would feel just like being in a fairytale. The room was extremely clean and tidy, with all the comforts, and if something was missing, the host satisfied any of our requests. Breakfast was heavenly good, with GLUTEN FREE substitutes. Something that doesn’t happen very often. We are traveling with our dog, which was more than welcome to stay, another plus that made us decide to come here. Overall a 5 star experience. I feel bad we have to leave after only one night.

Good base for us exploring Nirth Wales and onky few minutes drive to the A55 main road. The hosts were lovely, and we were met with a warm welcome each morning. Very tasty home cooked breakfast, and you can relax by the wood burning stove with drink. Our room had a traditional elements, cosy and warm and our own access without going inside the pub. Would happily stay here again. Super clean Super friendly
