This property is in a great location. Our room large offering plenty of space for my morning yoga’s routine. We enjoyed all the facilities the props had to offer and there were plenty of them! Pool, spa x2, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was delicious and great service. All the staff were friendly yet efficient. I would highly recommend staying at Ambleside Salutation if you are visiting the Lakes District. We loved our stay here!

This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Everything! Such a great. relaxing and special place to stay. We planned to eat out in Keswick some evenings as we were staying for 3 nights. However we couldn’t drag ourselves away as the food was all fantastic. We also loved the way that dogs were treated. They could go everywhere too. They even had a sink outside for muddy paws with warm water and fresh towels.
