This is a clean and well thought out room. Great lighting, comfy bed, set back from the road and nice and quiet, heaps of parking. Very happy with the layout of this room and a big desk to use. And the pub does great food and drink with table service.

The Priory is nestled within the historic town of Caerleon on the River Usk. Dating back to 1180, this hotel was originally a Cistercian monastery. The staff, especially Grace in the little shop were great. Grace gladly answered all of our questions with a smile. The household staff was very friendly and helped us with all of our requests. Collin, the barman, was quite friendly and well versed in his craft. The gardens were impeccable kept. Walking paths to Roaman ruins, the museum and a lovely parklike walk close by. In short, we loved everything about the property.
