Tortugal Boutique River Lodge halvön ligger i floden Rio Dulce, nära ett slott från 1500-talet. Här badar du nästan konstant på strandbrisen som ger en svalkande och uppfriskande plats. Within five minutes of placing a call we were whisked off to this charming riverside location. Our pleasant host, welcomed us and showed us to our well appointed room. Special thanks to Angie who was really helpful. The breakfast was first class as was the service. I just wish we had the time to stay longer.

El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. A unique jungle experience! Beautiful setting, very helpful and friendly staff and owners and pretty and clean cabañas....and tasty food! Make no mistake, you're in the rainforest. So, you hear birds and animals and have to travel by boat or canoe. Highly recomendable.

Hotel Posada Stella Maris ligger i Puerto Barrios och erbjuder 5-stjärnigt boende med en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Utöver conciergeservice har detta boende även en lekplats. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar ligger i Izabal, 45 km från Bangkok Thonburi-universitetet, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Boendet har rumsservice och conciergeservice och kan även bistå med valutaväxling. located in the national park in the middle of rainforest close to the river, accessible only by boat, there’s no noise from the street, only birds singing. I wish I could stay longer

Hotel La Casa Rosada ligger i Lívingston och har en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. I loved the cozy and comfortable loft. The view of the loft was awesome and I loved the breeze of the ocean in the open loft. The stuff was super helpful with informations about Livingston and what I can explore. The Topada and the cappuccino in the restaurant was simply amazing.
