Boasting a bar and views of city, RQ Boutique & Unique Hotel is situated in Győr, 700 metres from Győr Basilica. What an epic hotel! Crazy design everywhere, in no way your 'boring shoebox". I believe that every room is different. We had the mirror room, which was cool. Location is amazing, 3 minutes walk from town and a brilliant restaurant. Communication is fast and clear. Checkout is a bit early for me, but that's my only complaint The breakfasts are great - very filling, a lot of choices. Parking is easy, if you are driving. Be aware - stairs only, no elevator - but there is a lower floor. Staff are very helpful and the service is brilliant.

Set in Hegykő, 7.3 km from Esterhazy Castle, Hotel HegiQ offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).
