This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Clean and well maintained. Dinner was spectacular really enjoyed the atmosphere. Just walk and enjoy the architecture and nature! Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Hotel Kilmore is in the heart of Ireland's Lakeland District, offering comfortable rooms, a restaurant and 2 bars. Cavan Town is a short drive away. I especially appreciated help you f Eveline who gave me a little heater to make my room worm faster. Even though the main heaters were already on and there was no problem. The receptionists were very kind as well and the staff in the restaurant were very professional and warm-hearted.

Room had everything I needed just where I needed it. I loved the layout. It made staying there so easy, I didn't want to leave.
