It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. it is a castle turned into a hotel . There’s a huge effort on maintaining the castle feel and yet giving the modern comfort .

I just picked this place randomly for one night on my way back to the Belfast airport. What a wonderful surprise it was! Highly recommend this property to everyone staying in the area

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Beautiful setting. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. It was a relaxing night away. We had a 3 course meal in Maxwells Grill which was 10/10- the fillet steak and fishcake I would highly recommend. We also had some fab cocktails afterwards. Orla working on reception was so welcoming- a ray of sunshine who made us both smile.
