The 4-star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is situated right in the heart of medieval city of Kilkenny. The property is only 2 minute's walk from main street, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. The room was grand. Had no issues. Didn't eat at the hotel

Amazing breakfast. No buffet but served on the table with excellent choice for 15 Euros. Location is fine, very near the castle. It is a bit far from the Big green bus stop, but the town is small and with normal luggage it is managable. The room was very big and the window could be opened which is something I like. I had a nice view of the cathedral.

With a stunning outdoor infinity pool, a hot tub, and an Aveda spa, Newpark Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Kilkenny centre. The house is set within 40 acres of parkland and beautiful gardens. SA very nice and professional hotel. Staff was very kind and a million stars to the host of breakfast she is one of the kind. Been to 100 hotels and she takes the price. Never seen a person in that control and at the same time be so friendly. Both me and my partner wanted to go back just for the amazing breakfast
