Smiling, helpful front desk staff - helped us with travel advice, lent us matkot paddles, and more. Room is quiet, shower amenities nice, and the coffee & fridge great. 4th floor also provides free drinks, including beer and wine, and several rooms you can chill in, including a sun terrace on the top floor. Air conditioning works well as well. Cafe has great food options; my favorite was an orange polenta cake, and Jerusalem bagel breakfast. Had a local neighborhood vibe, with great falafel, sabiche, gelato shops nearby - and just a few minutes walk to Carmel Market.
