The owner was very friendly and helpful. All meals were delicious. The location on the lake is beautiful. Vök Baths are close by.

I loved the hospitality and hygiene at Arnanes. Everything looked so clean and nice. And also the way the hotel is situated in nature is amazing. A great view upon the mountains, that's even more beautiful with sunrise and sunset! The owners were very friendly and always in for a chat, and even some sightseeing and aurora advice. Bonus for Dutch travelers: the owner also speaks a good amount of Dutch! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel if I visit Iceland again. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Very cozy and functional family place with good rooms, an affordable restaurant with all day coffee and lounge places all over the property. Enthusiastic staff and very helpful people. Loved it!
