Very Friendly staff /nice big room very comfortable bed / with lovey decor. the hotel has a hot tub and a sauna and they even Loan you the use of a fluffy Bath robe and slip ons for walking to the tub .. two choices for dinner we had the buffet it’s was fantastic breakfast was also the best lots of choice for both definitely recommend this place to stay and if you leave your room number they will ring u if the lights appear .. this place ticked all the box’s

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.

Situated within 30 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 37 km of Husavik Golf Club in Granastaðir, Granastaðir Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. Very clean, bright, and comfortable rooms. Great location in the countryside as a stop-over along the ring road and to explore the area nearby. Nice to take in the nature with the backyard waterfall, mountains all around, and beautifully cared for garden. Common kitchen was clean and well stocked with pantry staples, cookware, and dishes. Host was so friendly and welcoming!

Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. Kjempefin hytte, som virkelig var en positiv overraskelse. Flott lavafelt utenfor og kort til så mange severdigheter. Vi laget mat selv , og alt vi trengte var der. Stille og rolig område.

Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.
