Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features free WiFi. Super nice and cozy hotel in the middle of the golden circle. It has a big parking, very convenient when driving through iceland by car. Nice and clean, exceeding our expectations. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms very quiet. Hot tub was perfect after getting to the hotel in the middle of a snow storm. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so make sure to make a reservation for dinner in some of the restaurants nearby beforehand because they can get pretty busy!

Welcome to Aurora Lodge Hotel, where adventure awaits! Our complex of 8 charming buildings sits right on the banks of the East Rangá River, just a stone's throw from the Icelandic Route 1 (Ring Road)... After chatting with the lady who works there, we understood the hotel is actually a fishing club and doesn’t open for public in the fishing season. We were lucky! By the way, the hot water here was real hot spring from the underground. Very nice place!

The family-owned Hótel Lækur is set on an Icelandic horse farm, between the Golden Circle and the south coast. Hella is 10 minutes’ drive away. It offers a sun terrace and a guest lounge. Beautiful location! The cabins are very confortable, with plenty of natural light and ventilation. The bathroom is of good size and modern too. The terrace of the cabin is great and has a great view of the river and the field and the sunset. The breakfast was very good! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Out kids were invited to feed the horses and they loved it.
