Hissisysteemi on toimiva, joskin tuolihissien osalta antiikkinen -hidas eikä suojakupuja. Alagnan puolella Salatin solaan nostava kabiinihissi ruuhkautuu pahoin puolilta päivin, jos väkeä on liikkeellä enemmän, kuten viikonloppuisin hyvällä ilmalla. Off-piste hiihtäjälle, varsinkin kokeneelle, alue on hyvän lumitilanteen vallitessa todellinen paratiisi. Helposti saavutettavia offareita tarjolla helpohkoista erittäin vaativiin. Itävallan, Sveitsin ja Ranskan isoihin "laskettelutehtaisiin" verrattuna loistavan rauhallinen ja rento tunnelma ja edullinen hintataso. Upeat vuoristomaisemat, mahtava Monte Rosa kaiken kruununa. Hyvää paikallisväritteistä ruokaa edullisesti useissa rinneravintoloissa (ei kaikissa kuitenkaan). Loistavia Piemonten ja Aostan laakson viinejä edullisesti.

Everything was perfect! we booked the two bedroom apartment (only two of us but we wanted space) and stayed in La Sabot. It was even better than we imagined! Clean, comfortable, warm and felt like home. The kitchen had the basics to prepare our meals. The shower was roomy and amazing! I enjoyed getting up in the morning to the views of the mountains while I sipped my coffee. Total peace and quiet. I’m sure during summer there is more activity /noise as it is part of a caravan park but that wouldn’t scare me away. We didn’t eat at the restaurant on site but it sure smelled yummy as we strolled by and the parking lot was full. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends. Oh, and it was pet friendly too so our old dog got to enjoy the quiet and snow.

All staff were excellent, food was brilliant, location just under the Matterhorn, walk straight onto mountain to ski. We were in one of the recently decorated room…perfect. Skidoo ride up to hotel was such fun. We drove and had to park car in Cervinia and get teleferique up to hotel which was adventurous. On the last day we saw the Stambeccos grazing outside our room and saw Marmottes coming out of hibernation…absolutely magical.

rooms clean and spacious, bathroom is amazing although don’t understand the tap on the side of a sink, the view is gorgeous, it is very near by Skyway - must do! breakfast was excellent
