SOKI Kanazawa features rooms in Kanazawa near Izumi Kyoka Museum and Kanazawa Phonograph Museum. With a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. We didn't have the breakfast but everything else was perfect. The spa is divine, the rooms spotless and the kimonos were super comfy and cute. I loved the extra touches (chocolate milk for after your bath, a sweet on arrival, tea in your room etc) . The staff were helpful and friendly and let me use the phone to call ahead to the next hotel.

Location is excellent: right outside of Takayama station! There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to Takayama Old Town. They allowed us to use their natural hot spring at their other hotel, so you should definitely check it out! The room is big and beautiful with an excellent view. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
