Residence Hotel Takayama Station is situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The room was spacious with an equipped kitchenette and a washer dryer that came with tide pods. The bed was really comfortable and the daily room service made it a joy to go back to the property to rest. The property is also very conveniently located next to the bus and train stations which made our day trips so convenient!

Conveniently situated in the centre of Takayama, HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. One of the best hotels I’ve been to. Clean, good service, hot shower was superb, healthy breakfast, free sake tasting for half the day! Location is unbeatable. Funasaka Brewery and their Hida beef restaurant is 30secs walk to the left.

Everything was great. I'd absolutely stay here again and again. The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. The room was clean, breakfast was great, the sauna and hot springs (2 large bath tubs) were amazing as well. 5 Stars.

The hotel is very convenient located and the room very cute and comfy. The staff was extremely helpful: we forgot 3 nice bottles of sake and they shipped them to our next hotel without delay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the temple has beautiful, spacious rooms with stunning views of the garden, very comfortable bathrooms (with washing machine and dryer), but most importantly, our stay allowed us to experience the atmosphere of the temple, the introduction to meditation and notions of buddhism as well as sutra copying was a very good experience. Thank you! The temple is located very centrally, there are nice cafés and Izakayas in the area, we can recommend Izakaya Entaku round the corner, with delicious food and a laid-back atmosphere.

It is close to train and bus station. Staff is very nice. Close to hotel are shops and restaurants. I would stay there again.
