Located in Chichibu, 46 km from Kumagaya Rugby Stadium, 町住客室 秩父宿 provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Charming inn of renovated old houses with a common area that comes with free water and other beverages. Spacious rooms with designated functions. Perfect for families and couples. We ate our breakfast at the washitsu, drank the free beer in the living room and had a relaxing bath. We also used the private onsen and sauna. The inn booked us a reservation at a nearby restaurant. You can keep your luggage at the reception area or sent nearby the station as you continue to explore the town. Great location, restaurants, shops, convenient stores are just a walk away.

Classic ＆ modern SELF-STYLED HOTEL 番場おおそね is located in Chichibu, 37 km from Mitsumine Shrine and 49 km from Koma Shrine. The staff was delightful. We came on a very rainy day, so we were a little tired and wet getting there. However, the staff provided us a nice overview of the property with a warm cheerful greeting. They had umbrellas for us to use. I loved all the tourist information in the lobby. We do not speak Japaneses well, but they were very helpful. I felt the modern aesthetics were nice and it was very clean to me. One thing that caught my attention was the toothbrushes they provided were a nice design to hold. This is a funny comment, but I've stayed at many upscale hotels and this little detail was a real delight!
