Everything at the White Sand Ark resort was excellent! Located right on Sok San beach, it was a quick (~30 minute and $12) tuk-tuk from the ferry pier. The staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and was able to store our bags until the room was ready for check-in while we spent some time on the lounge chairs on the beach. Our room was very clean and had a refrigerator, but the patio table and chairs were nice for early mornings and late nights. The beds were very comfortable and the room was fairly quiet, aside from a few roosters in the morning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and was served daily with both western and Asian options. The hotel restaurant was open for both lunch and dinner, but there were a few other restaurant options in the nearby quaint little "downtown" area. There were nearby convenience stores and we even had our laundry done while we were there at a nearby stand. The staff kept the beach and the hotel area spotless, cleaning up multiple times per day. Beach towels, paddle boards and scuba masks and snorkels were available at the hotel as well. Anna was incredibly helpful, and she even coordinated our ferry return and the tuk-tuk pickup to bring us back to the pier. You should definitely consider staying here if you are in Koh Rong, I know that we will be back!

The food of the restaurant is very good, we even had the possibilities to make special seafood order that came directly fresh from the local boats fishermans … it was exceptional !! Inwas staying in the front ocean view villa … the design of the bathroom is superbe … ( you will found a surprise in it … :):) All other villas are great too and none of the villas are too close to the others which keep a very good privacy ( and for me privacy = luxury) !! The private beach is great too and you have at your disposal free of charge kayaking and paddle. The sunset from the swimming over the ocean is speachless ! For me the best hotel on koh rong sanloem ! I will be back for sure
