We loved everything about the Madilao…it was just what we needed to wind up our Laos stay. Rooms were spacious, spotless quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts offered a good choice and served on the patio near the pool was a lovely touch. The pool was also very welcome, clean and cool. The shuttle into town in the evening was also welcome and they even organised a trip to the waterfall for us. They provide bikes for free use, which we didn’t use, but they looked in good condition. The ride share company Loca was cheap and easy to use for other times, such as the airport which is close by. Would we stay again? Yes!

Vieng Savanh II Hotel is located in Luang Prabang, within 100 metres of Wat Ho Xiang and 500 metres of Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre. A very helpful staff provided excellent services. He let us check in before the check-in time because the room was ready. So we didn't have to leave our luggage with the staff. He helped us to book a private van to the waterfall with a great price and give us the information for great sightseeing places. He gave us very fresh welcome drinks. Thank you for your generous hospitality! The breakfast was also great.

Luang Prabang Sinne kannattaa mennä ranskalaisen arkkitehtuurin, todella hyvien täytettyjen patonkien, rennon tunnelman, vesiputoksien takia. Ruokaa löytyy kaupungista ihan laidasta laitaan. Nähtävää siis on ja ruoka on hyvää. Niin no auringonlasku Mekong joen rannassa on todella kaunista katseltavaa myös. Hyvä paikka. Suosittelen kyllä Luang Prabangia.
