The best stay I've had in Laos so far! Mine was a private room with in-suite bathroom without a riverfront view. Rooms, bathrooms and linen were very clean. There's hot water in the shower. Water pressure in my room was great. Sound proofing is decent. There's a shared outdoor seating area with a couple of hammocks where I'd lounge about all day. The wifi is strong and stable. They have tea, coffee and bananas at the front desk. Ask for bottled water if you need some. The ever-smiling Mr. Sinsai is an amazing host. He speaks fluent English and is always available, should you need anything. He got me some terrific deals on tours. Also helped book bus tickets to Luang Prabang. The highlight of my stay was the New Year's Eve barbecue which he helped me setup! 10/10 would recommend. I'm gonna stay here again the next time I'm in town.

The view!!! Amazing view, perfect location to visit both sites of the village. Exceptionally friendly lady in the reception, also spoke good English.

Very friendly, helpful, they could also organize a tailored day trip for us. They have nice food, cocktails and a beautiful view on the river from the pool and the terrace. Everything is really worth it and great western standard. Thank you Sebastian !

Comfortable and well worth the price. Central location, everything you need within walking distance. The people running the place are so kind and helpful.

The accommodations are stunning, just like in the photos. Walking up to the property was like being in a fairytale. Calm and quiet, at the edge of town - a quick walk or bicycle ride to get to the center. The staff are wonderful and help with anything you need. Ou River House is wonderful for relaxing and swimming after a good hike, and the restaurant on-site serves great food. They also have free bikes and a kayak to use while staying on site.

The small cabins are really amazing. Spacious and also comes with a balcony. Breakfast buffet was good.

The view was beautiful - we had a very good view of the river from the balcony. Beds were clean and shower was hot :) Joy was very helpful. I would recommend.
