Operating a 24-hour front desk, Mount Lodge offers stylish and tranquil accommodations with free WiFi access in the entire property. My stay was spectacular. I stayed here for a week, then returned for another 1.5 weeks. Benjamin easily accommodated my last minute request for a much needed early check in, as well as my last min booking for the second stay. I had the room on the top floor. It was beautiful and exactly like the pics. The AC worked very well and I could control it. The bathroom was very clean and nice, which is really my only requirement for a residence. The bed was super comfy and I really appreciated that there was a proper duvet. I also really like that there was a good hair dryer and it even had the attachments! Padmini and Gamini were wonderful hosts, and made me a fantastic breakfast every morning. This hotel started to feel like home. It is a few min walking distance to a small and modern shopping complex which has a good grocery store, a pharmacy, a Subway, Baskin Robbins, and Popeyes. It is a few mins walk from Mount Lavinia hotel and the beaches. The road can get a little dark at night, but I felt safe. It was very easy to call an Uber and it was walking distance to the main road, where Hotel Rd meets Dehiwala.
