First of all the hotel is very beautiful and the staff of the hotel are so nice and polite and will do anything to help you no matter what you ask them. I lost a bag of expensive items at some restaurant and they called the restaurant to search for the bag and came with me without pay all the way to restaurant and back.

Cultural shock but must to see with your own eyes. 2 days is good enough to discover. Very intense city with lot of noises and smells, crowded places everywhere, the air pollution is high the trafic is crazy. The people are very kind and helpful. After all Colombo is an interesting experience.

Colombo is definitely not worth visiting, not even for a night. From the airport immediately take the bus or train to your first real stop. Nothing to see, nothing to do, just a busy and grey city.
